The end of an era

David's nursing days are numbered!!! For the past almost 2 years, I have shared my body with the cutest, sweetest, snuggli-est little boy, but they are now coming to an end. Pregnancy was quite rough for me (yet I'm so eager to do it again! lol) and it was so weird for that to come to an end. Then the nursing began which was equally rough, but only for the first couple weeks while we were learning. I really have enjoyed nursing - it's special bonding time! Having special clothes and nursing every 2 hours were probably my least favorite parts, lol. David was even nursing every 2 hours up until we started actively weaning a couple weeks ago (except during the night). I know I'll be sad when we're completely done, though.

I will gladly continue to share my shoulder for tears, my hand for holding and my lap for snuggling... just for you son!

I know how you feel. I just stopped nursing Jeffrey this past week and I already miss it. I only nursed him at night and then when we moved to Conway, I stopped completely.

He is such a healthy baby too! You have done a great JOB! Yeah for sippy cups!

Throughout my late adolescense and adulthood, I have had many positions (professionally and volunteer basis) that have helped me develop skills necessary to serve as a liaison to the community on behalf of a professional organization. I have spent many years in various organizations which have helped me grow skills such as public speaking, note taking, and scheduling. I am proficient in organization and mediation – always keeping the mindset of finding middle ground and while meeting the needs of those involved. I excel in the area of community outreach and thrive in situations where I am given reign to be creative and managerial. I am committed to achieving the best outcome and feel I have many fantastic qualities to contribute to any organization.
